Rochester Deaf Kitchen: A food pantry at RSD–1545 St. Paul Street. Open twice a week.

Seniors Helping Seniors - companion care services, Deaf/ASL skilled companion care workers.

Companion Care Of Rochester (CCOR) (Deaf friendly–they are looking to hire deaf caregivers who sign. Willing to provide interpreters.)

Deaf Events for Seniors

Henrietta Senior Center -(Deaf friendly)  Deaf seniors meet once a month on the third Friday of the month. Contact DEAR for more info: 

 

Deaf Elders Around Rochester (D.E.A.R.) meets every Wednesday from 9 to 3 at the Rochester Recreation Club for the Deaf, 1564 Lyell Avenue, Rochester.


Deaf Seniors of America Hosts events plus a biennial conference.

Deaf Friendly Independent Living Places:

Valley Manor Senior Living. Interpreters provided for events upon request.

 

Rochester View Apartments All units are adapted for Deaf. 57 apartments are one-bedroom, four apartments are two-bedroom.
